Raízen entra com pedido de IPO na bolsa brasileira

A Raízen, joint venture entre a Cosan e o grupo Shell, comunicou na última quinta-feira, 3, que protocolou um pedido de oferta pública inicial de ações (IPO, na sigla em inglês) à Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM).
No começo desta semana, a companhia brasileira de energia já havia informado a intenção de realizar seu IPO na B3.
De acordo com informações do Broadcast, do Estadão, a operação deve movimentar entre R$ 10 bilhões e R$ 13 bilhões, o que pode levar o IPO da Raízen entre os maiores da história na bolsa brasileira.
A companhia solicitou registro no Nível 2 de governança corporativa na B3. Com isso, a oferta será de ações preferenciais, sem direito a voto, mas que possuem preferência no pagamento de dividendos e outros proventos.
“Nós nos consideramos um líder mundial em biocombustíveis e uma referência global em sustentabilidade, na vanguarda de importantes tendências internacionais em transição energética desenvolvendo soluções com baixa emissão de carbono”, informou a companhia em nota.
Em seu ano fiscal encerrado em 31 de março, a Raízen registrou um lucro líquido de R$ 1,547 bilhão, cifra 35,4% menor em relação ao exercício anterior.
A empresa disse que seus resultados foram influenciados pela queda nas vendas do etanol e gasolina e combustíveis para aviação ao longo de 2020. Esse impacto foi uma consequência da crise gerada pela pandemia de Covid-19.
